Opening night finally came!
Riley sang beautifully and lit up the stage each
time she walked out on it.
Hannah was easy to spot in her "80's" glasses
and it was fun to watch her sing, dance, and "cut loose!"
These pics don't do the show justice...
3 months of rehearsals,
hours of working on lines,
singing solos in the shower,
and the end product was fantastic!!
We are so proud of our girls.
After their opening night,
we had the whole cast, crew, and directors over for a cast party.
It was so much fun to have them all hanging out
at our house and I wish I would have taken pictures of all the food
I made for it -
It was on St. Patrick's Day so I made a green veggie tray,
green fruit tray, green cupcakes, cookies with green m&m's, etc, etc!!
It was a lot of work but - in hindsight -
we hope to make it a tradition for every show.

Love the 80s glasses! Looks like so much fun. You're brave hosting the cast party. Party on Day family!
I was just thinking Hannah got those glasses from Uncle Ryan... :) So glad all the effort bore delicious fruit. You've got some talented girls there, who are making some awesome memories.
Dying to see Alec's video above. Love that boy!!!
Glad to see the Footloose shots. I am always sorry that cameras are not allowed in the auditorium so you could have seen Hannah doing her "circle" dance, and Riley standing alone w/her lovely solo.
It was a well-spent evening for Dad, Erin, and I !
