Thanksgiving 2011

We started our day by making our "Thankful 4's".

Ian: school, home, family, food
Alec: faith, friends, family, food
Hannah: friends, home, family, food
Riley: friends, happiness, family, food
Me: my family, the gospel, good health, being in Michigan
Jeff: family, friends, the Lions, food

Notice a theme going on? Maybe it was because we hadn't eaten yet
and the house was filled with delicious food cooking!

The day BEFORE Thanksgiving, I spent
making turkey cookies, among other things.
Everyone got one at their place...
that's 26 cookies -
all made with love. ;)

(the ADULT table)

We had so much food, I think we could have fed at least
twice as many! But ya gotta love the leftovers...

These 2 practiced "synchronized carving" -
one on the brined bird, the other on the deep fried.
Both were delicious and so moist.

("bigger kid" table)

The rest of the day/evening was spent playing games, doing a puzzle,
eating pie, some Just Dance to work off the pie...

and chasing these cuties around.

So much fun! Looks like a house full of love. Happy Thanksgiving.

P.S. Love the carpet on the stair treads.
