We started our day by making our "Thankful 4's".
Ian: school, home, family, food
Alec: faith, friends, family, food
Hannah: friends, home, family, food
Riley: friends, happiness, family, food
Me: my family, the gospel, good health, being in Michigan
Jeff: family, friends, the Lions, food
Notice a theme going on? Maybe it was because we hadn't eaten yet
and the house was filled with delicious food cooking!
The day BEFORE Thanksgiving, I spentmaking turkey cookies, among other things.
Everyone got one at their place...
that's 26 cookies -
all made with love. ;)

We had so much food, I think we could have fed at leasttwice as many! But ya gotta love the leftovers...
These 2 practiced "synchronized carving" -one on the brined bird, the other on the deep fried.
Both were delicious and so moist.

eating pie, some Just Dance to work off the pie...
and chasing these cuties around.
