Here is what we woke up to this morning!
We have been hearing about this storm for DAYS,
and it came alright.
Yesterday before it hit, I filled up the car with gas,
charged my cell phone, and made a quick
run to Kroger.
It was crazy there! Everyone was buying water and had their
shopping carts overflowing with food.
I kept thinking....really? It's just snow!
But everything has shut down today.
No school. Most stayed home from work.
Even Riley's doctor appt. was cancelled.
Of course, Jeff is out-of-town (in sunny California),
so these two came to my rescue.
And snow-blowed us outta here!
But they thought building snow forts was more fun
than shoveling. Go figure!

But 6 more inches or not,
tomorrow I'm making my way to my
hair appointment at noon.
Now, you may be wondering what my
2 capable daughters were doing all day,
while we were braving the weather
and breaking a sweat...
For 4 hours.

Holy SNOW!! I keep looking at the pictures in awe. It looks like a crazy white planet complete with aliens in ski gear!!
I hope the sun comes out just enough for you to make it to your hair appointment & for another snow day!
This is Gage.
Wow! It is amazing how much snow there is there! Today it was very cold & windy, but it really only reached the 40's. It would be cool to build snow forts and have a snowball fight in that. Man, you guys are lucky!
WJR Radio called it "Stormageddon" !
You had more than we did, but Chi-Town got hit the hardest ... come in Browns ! Knock Knock ... are you there ?
