Yup. We dug our way out of the snow.
Took a few winter's naps.
We even celebrated Valentine's Day!

{valentine dinner table}
Thanks to Hannah & Ian for the cute table decorations,
we spent a quiet night at home, as a family.
We whipped up some chicken enchiladas (with RED sauce)
and the kids enjoyed their goodies tucked into
these envelope chains I made each of them.
It was a perfect night spent with those I love.
And speaking of those I love....
I love Jeff for his positive nature.
I love Riley for her determination.
I love Hannah for her sense of humor.
I love Alec for his tender heart.
and I love Ian for his need for me. :)
We spent the morning together at the bowling alley with the whole
first grade. Not the best picture from my phone,
but at least I captured the moment!
Then we spent the afternoon together
at school for his class party.
When we got home, I asked him if he'd be my valentine.
He agreed, blushing.
Later, I tried to kiss him goodnight. He protested (as usual),
but I reminded him that we were Valentines.
He replied, "I think I maybe changed my mind."
Love you, too, buddy!

Sounds like a happy hearts day for all (as long as there is no kissing involved for Ian!) ha-ha!!
I'm glad you're back!
Awesome Valentine's Day table settings! Maybe Hannah should be a party planner when she grow up (or event coordinator as they are called these days).
I'm glad you're back too!
You are a good Mom, Amy-Ling, and I LOVE you for your "make a memory" ways !
