When we went on our trip to Utah, my family and I climbed a big mountain. It was fun but it was hard. Here is a picture of me, Alec and my Dad climbing it. I'm on my Dad's shoulders.

Did you know that the temple is also called the "Mountain of the Lord"? When we were in Utah we saw lots of temples.
We saw the Manti temple where my Grandma & Grandpa Day were married. It had an American flag in front of it.

We saw the Winter Quarters Temple in Nebraska. Here's my Mom & Dad in front of it.

We saw the Nauvoo Temple, too. We took a picture of it at night after we saw the pageant.

My family also got to go to a temple open house. That means we got to go inside it. The name of that temple was the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

It was brand new and pretty inside. I saw lots of pictures of Jesus. We had to be reverent inside and whisper when we talked. The windows had stars on them. It made me happy there. When we were done, we got a cookie. I got a chocolate chip one. That was my favorite part!
I'm glad that I got to see all of these temples with my family. When I grow up, I want to go inside the temple again.
I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
(We also saw the Salt Lake Temple & Draper Temple, but he's only 5 and can only spit so many words out in 2-3 minutes!!! I thought I'd point out to the kids, too, that isn't it interesting that although these temples all look so different, they all serve the same purpose - bringing families together.)
