...and he planned his own party.

It was so great that J's b-day fell on a Saturday...

It was also great that we had the whole day open for fun.

Another great thing was that he planned the whole day

with all of the things he loves to do.

First on the agenda was a "Salami World Tour" -

courtesy of Costco.

Favorite sausage was from Germany.

Least favorite was from China.  Ewwww.

With tummies full of junk Salami

we moved the party to Novi where Scott & Leslie met up with us.

Jeff found a Go Karting place that just opened

and we raced & cheered each other on!

From there, we headed to the Big D's Eastern Market for

some authentic Italian pizza at Supino's.

This place was so tiny but PACKED with people

wanting a taste of this delicious pizza.

We lucked out and got a table,

ordered SIX pizzas and couldn't believe

how much it tasted like the pizza we loved in Italy.

My favorite was the Four Cheese with fresh mozzarella on top!

And, yes, we ate all 6 pizzas.

No problemo!
